I started to crochet properly about a year ago, I tried to learn in 2022 but I kept trying to rush it so I only had a couple wonky squares to show for it. I tried all of January to crochet a scarf with yarn much too thick for what I wanted and thinking about it now I’m pretty sure I only used slip stitches. It was February 7th that changed everything. I decided that I couldn’t keep doing wonky squares, I wanted to learn a granny square. Eventually I did. I used a tutorial from Bella Coco Crochet on YouTube and it took a while to understand it. I frogged the square so many times but after about four hours (and a bit of a cry) I finally finished my first granny square.
Here’s a list of things I want to crochet in 2024 and beyond! Anything I have patterns for will be linked, it’s mostly YouTube videos!

As with my sewing bucket list I don’t think I’ll get everything done this year with all the other hobbies and plans I have. I’m hopeful that I can make a decent amount of things though!
If you crochet, let me know what’s on your bucket list for this year!
